Zuckerman Spaeder LLP Partner Marcos E. Hasbun Named an "Up & Comer" by Tampa Bay Business Journal

Zuckerman Spaeder LLP is pleased to announce that partner Marcos E. Hasbun has been selected as an honoree for the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s 2011 Up & Comers Awards. The annual awards program recognizes accomplished young business leaders in the Tampa Bay area.

Mr. Hasbun, who is based in the firm’s Tampa office, focuses his practice on white collar criminal matters and complex civil litigation. He has represented pharmaceutical and medical device companies, pharmacies, physicians, and other individuals in the health care industry in federal and state matters involving the False Claims Act, the Anti-Kickback Statute, and in state administrative proceedings relating to alleged regulatory violations. Mr. Hasbun also represents companies and individuals in commercial litigation, and in international arbitrations conducted under the auspices of the International Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Hasbun’s legal skills have earned him recognition both in Florida and nationally. He was recently featured in Florida Trend magazine’s 2011 list of “Florida Legal Elite”—an honor extended to just 2 percent of attorneys in the state, nominated by their peers in the Florida Bar and selected by the magazine. Mr. Hasbun has also been listed in The Best Lawyers in America since 2010, while Benchmark Litigation named him a “Future Star” in both its 2010 and 2011 rankings.
