Zuckerman Spaeder LLP Announces New Partners

Zuckerman Spaeder LLP is pleased to announce that Andrew N. Goldfarb and Lisa J. Stevenson have been elected partner. Both Mr. Goldfarb and Ms. Stevenson practice out of the firm’s Washington, D.C., office.

“Our business is built upon the talent and commitment of our attorneys,” said Graeme Bush, chairman of the firm. “Andrew and Lisa are exceptional litigators who will help lead the firm’s next generation. We are lucky to have lawyers of their skill join our partnership.”

Andrew N. Goldfarb's practice focuses on complex civil litigation, bankruptcy litigation, food and drug law, internal investigations, and criminal defense. At Zuckerman Spaeder, Mr. Goldfarb has represented post-confirmation bankruptcy trustees in actions seeking recoveries for unsecured creditors of major retailers; counseled and defended a data vendor affected by a potential data breach arising out of a computer theft; conducted an independent internal investigation for a major pharmaceutical company; and defended an individual in a criminal prosecution relating to allegedly fraudulent tax shelters developed and sold by a major accounting firm.

Lisa J. Stevenson counsels clients in white-collar criminal investigations and prosecutions, complex civil litigation matters, disciplinary and debarment proceedings, and other investigations and litigation brought by state, federal, and other governmental agencies. She has represented clients in a broad range of matters, including securities fraud, healthcare fraud, false pretenses, bank and wire fraud, legal malpractice, and governmental ethics violations. In addition to representing individuals in white collar and malpractice matters, Ms. Stevenson has also worked with a wide variety of corporate clients, including law firms, defense contractors, and pharmaceutical companies. She also handles insurance coverage matters for both plaintiffs and defendants.
