Three Zuckerman Spaeder LLP Attorneys Named Florida “Super Lawyers,” Another as a Florida “Rising Star”

Zuckerman Spaeder LLP announced today that three of its Tampa-based attorneys were chosen as 2011 Florida Super Lawyers and that another was named as a Florida Rising Star. Super Lawyers, an independent rating service, employs a rigorous review process to identify no more than 5 percent of attorneys in a state who have “attainted a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.” Rising Stars recognizes up-and-coming attorneys who are 40 years old or younger, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less.

The Zuckerman Spaeder attorneys named as Florida Super Lawyers for 2011 are:

  • Jack E. Fernandez
  • Lee Fugate
  • Morris "Sandy" Weinberg Jr.

The Zuckerman Spaeder attorney named as a Florida Rising Star for 2011 is:

  • Nathan M. Berman

According to Super Lawyers, the rating service’s objective is to create a credible, comprehensive, and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys that can be used as a resource for attorneys and consumers searching for legal counsel. The Super Lawyers selection process is multi-phased and includes independent research, peer nominations, and peer evaluations. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Selections are made on an annual, state-by-state basis.
