Alexandra W. Miller Elected by D.C. Bar Board of Governors to Serve Three-Year Term on D.C. Bar Legal Ethics Committee

Zuckerman Spaeder LLP partner Alexandra W. Miller has been elected by the District of Columbia Bar Board of Governors to serve a three-year term on the Bar’s Legal Ethics Committee, beginning on July 2, 2012. The Legal Ethics Committee issues opinions on questions involving the application of the D.C. Rules of Professional Conduct. Ms. Miller is a member of Zuckerman Spaeder’s Legal Profession and Ethics Practice, which advises and represents attorneys and law firms on a variety of ethics matters, including conflicts of interest, confidentiality, disciplinary investigations and prosecutions, partner departures, and law firm breakups. Her practice also includes food and drug law and complex civil litigation, with an emphasis on securities litigation, in particular U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) enforcement matters.

Zuckerman Spaeder partner Thomas B. Mason, head of the Legal Profession and Ethics Practice, is the current chair of the D.C. Bar’s Legal Ethics Committee.
